Extra Wrinkle or Two.. Blogging Friendships
May 13, 2008 by Heidi
Yesterday was such a blast. I was able to surprise my close friend on her birthday. We both joked that we would wake up with an extra wrinkle or two from smiling too much because of this event.
My Friend Hope lives in Ottawa, Canada. One true Canadian. I was the first American she has ever talked too, she says.
Let me tell you she has the accent; especially with the word “about”.
Yesterday, via phone we were able to talk for the very first time for about 51 minutes about absolutely everything. Although we have been email/blog friends for 7 months now, it seemed like I had known her for years….
Hope is one classy woman who loves the Lord and just seeks Him so earnestly, but also just a very confident person, who blows wind in your wings to keep you moving on.
Love her to pluto and back!!
I love blogging and all it brings…. Friendships….. good solid friendships.
What do you think about blogging friendships???

LOVE Blogging Friendships!
The connections I’ve made through blogging and been very deep and intense. There’s no guard up. No false pretenses. It’s so refreshing!
Sweet Jesus! Where did you get that picture? OY! I love blogging friendships. I can’t believe it was that EASY to talk to you for that long. I was so blessed to get that call from you - what courage. I honestly don’t think I would have had the boldness to do that. Thank you so much for taking the first step. Love your accent by the way, “ya know.”
You’re sweet and honourable and I just absolutely treasure our friendship. Now, be a love and photoshop that picture.
I love the connections I have made through blogging. I have been encouraged, challenged and even carried through some really dark times by my blog friends. I would love to meet in person some of the people that I “know” through their blogs. Reading about the lives of people around me makes me realize that I don’t live in a bubble.
Bandwidth sharpens bandwidth or something techy like that. I have enjoyed getting to know all these new people I have never met
My blogging friendships are wonderful people that are soooo great. I am in fact going to Oklahoma in August to meet quite a few of my blogging friends at one time. I am excited. One of these days I am hoping to get to San Diego and see another of my blogging friends…..Hmmm I wonder who that could be
i love my blog friendships. utterly and truly.
I love my blog friends! I wish I could afford to travel all summer and visit each one! What is totally awesome to me as a Christian is the fact that it is all God ordained…HE knew it , HE planned it, and HE leads to the ones who can encourage me…iron sharpens iron…ISn’t HE soooo sweet to hook us up with so many all over the globe, and just whisper…”your sisters and brothers are out there, and they want to know you!” Love you Princess!
Bloggin’ Buddies are the BEST! I have met the best group of people through blogging…including YOU
Seriously, I have been encouraged more than I ever thought possible. I started blogging just as a lame attempt at journaling. I have been blessed with so much more!
Love and Hugs beautiful girl!
Sooo-o cool that you all got to talk! How amazingly fun would it be to actually meet her in person! Good people must be born in May! My son, husband, mother, and 2 good friends also have May b-days! Good, good folk, you May people!
